For a long time, I didn’t think I’d return to wedding cakes. I’d stepped away quietly, unsure if there was still a place for me in an industry that often expects neutral tones, endless customisation, and a polished kind of pretty that never quite felt like mine.
But something shifted. I missed the magic. The theatre of it. The thrill of creating something towering, dramatic, and meaningful, something that becomes part of a couple’s story. And so I’m coming back to wedding cakes... but I’m doing it differently. On my terms.
Seven Crows isn’t offering “whatever you want” cakes. I’m not taking on bespoke designs just for the sake of it. Instead, I’m creating seasonal cake collections, striking, sculptural designs that reflect the heart of my brand. Gothic. Romantic. Macabre. Wild. Beautiful. These are cakes that feel and look different. Think bone, black, rust, aged gold, plum. Fading flowers, delicate skulls, and soft decay. They don’t just sit on a table, they command the room!
This is a big shift. The wedding world is built around custom, fully bespoke commissions, but that model doesn’t fit the kind of work I do best. What I’m offering now is curated, considered, and fully creator-led. You choose from the collection, I bring it to life for your day. No compromises, no diluting the vision.
It feels bold, it feels right, and it feels like coming home.
If you’re planning an alternative wedding and want a cake that feels like art, like something sacred and strange, you’ll love what’s coming.
The first collection is called The Hollow Chapel and it’s nearly ready!
