Why Seven Crows?
The name Seven Crows is deeply personal. As a family of seven, we’ve always resonated with crows—intelligent, resourceful birds that feature heavily in myths, folklore, and Gothic literature. Known for their loyalty and family bonds, crows symbolize wisdom and the mysterious beauty that lies in the darker corners of life.

Much like the crows we honour, our creations embody that same balance of elegance, intelligence, and connection.

Our Story
Seven Crows is the vision of Hayley, an artist with a lifelong love for the darker side of life. Growing up exploring wild woodlands and immersing herself in the mysteries of nature and folklore, Hayley was drawn to the beauty of the Gothic aesthetic from an early age. Combining her passion for art with the ultimate luxury—chocolate—she began crafting edible sculptures unlike anything she had seen before.

“I wanted to create something truly unique—something that feels both indulgent and meaningful,” Hayley says. “The Victorian Gothic aesthetic pairs perfectly with chocolate: the opulence, the richness, the darkness. And the keepsakes? They’re a way to preserve the beauty of our chocolates forever.”

As a husband-and-wife team, Seven Crows is a family endeavour. While Hayley leads the creative process, her husband is the steadying influence and voice of reason who ensures every step of the journey is as seamless as possible. Together, they’ve built a brand that reflects not only their shared love for Gothic artistry but their commitment to quality and sustainability.
